The Z Hotel Jack London Square has amazing, genuinely friendly staff. It is located near the Farmers Market, cafés, bars, and a ferry port.

The room I stayed in was a nice size and well-maintained, with a space heater, double beds, and bathrooms; the breakfast at Scott's Seafood was delicious, the food was GOOD. Everything was simply fine. This hotel was fantastic base for exploring Oakland, truly enjoyed it and venue’s amazing friendly and genuinely friendly staff with the member of my staff. The location was marvellous and incredible and the room was clean...

Enjoyed the affordable and tidy room with a mini fridge, could have lounged there all day. the bathroom had a refreshing shower and a handy hairdryer. the location was fantastic, being so close to a ferry port ⚓️.

Although there was no AC in the room and the street noise was loud, the comfortable bed and friendly staff made our stay enjoyable. I recommend this hotel for its convenient location and good value.

It was convenient to the Amtrak station.

This hotel has an excellent attached restaurant.. Awesome bake dpotato soup.. Huge breakfasts at reasonable prices.. Rooms are "average" , but have very good and ample pillows...excellent location near jacl london square...

A bit noisy in the back due to a pool hall... Also charge for computer use...

I recently stayed at a hotel in a great location, close to the Ferry for a quick ride to San Francisco. Despite being next to a railroad, the hotel was surprisingly quiet and clean. The staff provided excellent service and the basic amenities in the room were fair. I appreciated that the room had a microwave and a refrigerator, which made my stay even more convenient. Additionally, breakfast at Scott's Seafood was included and served delicious food.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was satisfactory.

Near the docks, ferry to San Francisco, and Jack London Square restaurants. Also easy walking distance to the bart for transportation around the Bay area.

Excellent hotel with a great location and brilliant pool. The restaurant next door does great food and is not expensive. Not far from the far ferry dock for downtown sfo.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The Inn provided a cozy refuge from the city, offering a much-needed rest. We particularly appreciated the snack machine, although a little more variety would have been nice. The location was perfect for our trip, with convenient parking available for only $25 a day. The check-in process was easy and friendly. Being just steps away from Yoshi's, Scott's, and all Jack London Square attractions, as well as the nearby Amtrak station, made exploring the area incredibly convenient. Our room was clean and well-appointed, and we loved being on the same level as the inviting pool. Additionally, having the Buttercup Grill on the same property provided delicious food with great taste and generous portions.

The rooms here are newly renovated, spotlessly clean, and come with a mini fridge and comfy beds in the bathroom.

I liked the fact that it was convenient to everything we needed

I'm not a smoker and there were some guest smoking outside their room and we had to walk through the smoke, it had nothing to do with the hotel, just bad guest manners.
